I had a reasonably quiet weekend. Mum and I did the regular shopping trip on Saturday morning. After that we went for a quick drive through the hills and then out for lunch. When I came back I got organised and did my tax return, before working spending the rest of the day on SR.
On Sunday I went out with one of my friends from Uni for lunch and then we went camera shopping. I am looking at buying a new camera with some of the money I’ll get back from my tax and my friend was looking for a camera as well. I tried out the one I wanted (a Fuji Finepix 8100fd) and she ended up buying the one I looked at a few weeks back (a Fuji Finepix Z20). Mum is going to have my current camera and her current camera (my oldest one) will then be my camera to take to school events.
I have been working on SR and I am finally drafting the newer chapters. I have material already written to review but I am writing new scenes to add more depth, particularly to the growing romantic relationship between my two main characters. After the next two or so chapters the pace of the novel really starts to move.
Tomorrow I am going for a drive with my friend K to take some photos. I don’t know exactly where we will be going yet but I will put some of the photos up tomorrow night.
